The foolish vain queen of Cepheus that endangers her people bragging of her beauty is also known as only the lady in the chair. Actually for all of her vanity it is often her throne that is recalled and not her, for the stars of this constellation are such they depict what is easily traced out as a chair tumbling around the pole star. The queen in the chair is often forgotten and it is often referred to as just the “, the throne.”
