Ace of spades – Cygnus

The sun slumbers through the shortest days in the company of Cygnus from December 22^nd through to January 1^st. Cygnus was the last of the three great birds that it was Hercules 6^th task to destroy. The hunting birds of Artemis while fleeing some wolves, escaped into wild marshes. Over time they became prolific and had become a terror to all. The birds that fled Hercules arrows over time would become the birds of migration that migrate north as the days once again being to lengthen.
