2 of Spades – Delphinius
The sun continues its journey through the “sea,” as the days grow longer in the company of Delphinus the dolphin from January 1st to January 10th. The dolphin is not alone out here in the sea it is surrounded by the whale, the fishes, and the sea goat. It is a mystery why the ancients chose a dolphin for these stars, they do not resemble one in any way, but it appears all of the ancient peoples grouped the same stars together. It was not until much later that Christians assigned the diamond composed of brightest four stars the title of Job’s Coffin.
If you have drawn this card, it is time to look inside and verify that the things you have chosen to do are for a worthy cause. With that reflection also beware of sickness through overwork.
